VICKI NORTHRUP

Ms. Northrup has over fifteen years experience in the automotive, recreational product and marine industries in the United States and over twenty years in the sales, advertising and marketing fields. Her focus has been primarily in the electric vehicle field, launching start-up companies for both low speed and highway-capable EVs. She is credited for the success of the Clean Commute Program, a joint effort between Ford Motor Company and several New York state agencies from 2001-2004, which resulted in the largest EV project of its day in the US. Ms. Northrup has extensive knowledge and training of dealership practices, consumer behavior, trends, public relations and media, marketing and advertising and sales. She has held numerous positions with the American Advertising Federation, including President, in Florida.

Her extensive career background encompasses small startup and large corporations in both field sales and research laboratory environments, along with dealership and consumer-facing functions. Her strengths lie in results-oriented and fiscally-responsible practices, competitive research, spearheading trade and consumer shows and developing distribution, marketing and public relations plans.

Ms. Northrup is a gifted writer and speaker and has received numerous awards for her work in advertising as well as receiving the Henry Ford Operational Excellence Award in 2006. She sits on several boards and is an active member of many Clean Cities organizations throughout the United States as well as a member of the Electric Automobile Association and the National Defense Transportation Association. She graduated magna cum laude from both Barry University in Miami, Florida as well as her MBA from Baker College in Michigan.  Ms. Northrup's consulting company is based in Central Florida.
